Lyon Annual Blood Drive: Seeking Donors

During the months of June and July, Lyon Real Estate is partnering with BloodSource to save lives with their annual blood drive. The company donated a total of 382 pints of blood at last years drive.

Approximately 40,000 pints of blood are used each day in the United States alone, and even one donation has the potential to save as many as three lives, according to BloodSource. For example, three teaspoons of donated blood can save a baby’s life.

Anyone can visit a BloodSource donation center and donate blood on behalf of their community’s Lyon Real Estate office. Locations for regional BloodSource centers can be found at www.bloodsource.org, and information about Lyon Real Estate and its offices is available at www.GoLyon.com.

The company goal for this summer is 300 pints, which is within reach. At the one month mark, the end of June, 255 pints had been donated.  “It’s an honor to work with so many people who can match their passion for their profession with compassion for their community,” Lyon Real Estate President & COO Pat Shea said.
