Celebrating All Mothers: Unique Experiences for Every Type of Mom This Mother’s Day

What comes to mind when you think of your mother? Perhaps it’s milk and cookies after school. Or sideline cheers from a sporting event. Or putting a bandage on your knee after taking a tumble on your bike. No matter how your mom showed how much she cared, she deserves a little recognition this Mother’s Day.

Mothers show their love in different ways, so it’s only natural that there are different ways to show our love on Mother’s Day. For many moms, flowers are a must. For others, they’d prefer a sentimental piece of jewelry. For others still, a handmade card is the way to go.

But for many moms, nothing beats an experience. Mother’s Day brunch is a traditional activity, as is a relaxing day at a Sacramento-area spa. But every mom has her own preferences and tastes. This Mother’s Day, why not think outside the box and give mom an experience to suit her taste? From train rides to sound baths, there are plenty of things to do this Mother’s Day in the Sacramento region. The following are some ideas.
