Device Brewing Company | Pocket Greenhaven
With several locations in Sacramento, Device is a laid-back neighborhood brewery with a solid lineup of craft beers. Their location in the Pocket-Greenhaven area is especially suited for game lovers, with Skee-Ball, pinball and other arcade games. It also has a full kitchen, offering bar bites, sandwiches, and weekend breakfast. Their location in Midtown has shuffleboard and foosball and while there’s no kitchen, you can order from nearby restaurants.
Drake’s at the Barn | West Sacramento
Located in West Sacramento overlooking the Sacramento River, Drake’s is much more than just a brewery. It’s a spacious venue with ample outdoor seating, fire pits, and a grassy area where the kiddos can run around and let off some steam. Visitors can enjoy a variety of lawn games like cornhole and giant Jenga, plus there’s trivia on Thursdays. In addition to beer, wine, and cocktails, they also serve wood-fired pizza and have a rotating lineup of food trucks. Outdoor movie nights and live music round out the offerings.

Located on a working farm in Lincoln, GoatHouse Brewing is perhaps best known for its resident goats that wander the property to the delight of visitors. If watching the antics of these adorable creatures isn’t enough, they also have a number of board games on hand, as well as cornhole overlooking the farm. In addition, they host trivia nights, live music, and food trucks.
Boring Rose Brewing Company | El Dorado Hills
There’s nothing boring about this El Dorado Hills brewery. In fact, it’s one of the most unique breweries in the Sacramento area, with a plant shop in the front and a taproom in the back, plus a large greenhouse onsite! The lush patio is a great place to sip a craft beer and play one of the many board games on offer. If you prefer a more formal gaming experience, they also offer bingo and trivia. You can also fill up on salads, sandwiches, pizza and charcuterie boards.

Track 7 Brewing Company | Natomas
This long-standing Sacramento brewery has locations in both Curtis Park and Natomas. Their original Curtis Park location is housed in an industrial space with arcade games and Skee-Ball, while the Natomas location has a large outdoor area with cornhole and giant Connect Four. Both offer board games as well. They don’t offer food, but food trucks are on site most days of the week, or you can bring your own.
Hooby’s Brewing | Winters
If cornhole is your jam, then there’s no better place to spend a day in the greater Sacramento area than Hooby’s. Located in the charming town of Winters, Hooby’s has a large indoor space with numerous cornhole boards. They even host all-level tournaments on Wednesday and Friday nights and an annual Corntobeerfest each fall, complete with a costume contest and stein holding competition. They also have a full kitchen cranking out pub fare such as burgers and sandwiches, not to mention a wide selection of house-brewed beer.
Loomis Basin Brewing Co. | Loomis
Corn hole, Jenga, and various board games are a few of the activities you’ll find at this friendly brewery in Loomis. They also have trivia and bingo, plus live music most weekends. They offer a number of IPAs and ales, and their sister restaurant, LBB Gastropub, specializes in elevated barbecue.

Sac City Brews | Tallac Village
This friendly neighborhood tap house in the Tallac Village neighborhood of Sacramento offers a huge selection of beer, wine, cider, and kombucha, mostly from California producers. The family-friendly space has dozens of games on offer, so you can spend the afternoon or evening playing with family or friends. They also host special events such as trivia nights and have a kitchen serving bar bites and brunch on Sundays.
Three Mile Brewing | Davis
Although the main draw of Three Mile Brewing in Davis is their award-winning IPAs, blondes, and sours, it’s also a great spot to hang out with friends or family. They have food trucks most nights of the week and offer trivia on Wednesdays.
Big Sexy Brewing Company | Sacramento
Known for their hop-forward IPAs, Big Sexy is located in an industrial space in the Florin area of southeastern Sacramento. Despite its name, it’s kid-friendly, with numerous games for the whole family, including cornhole, ring toss, giant Jenga and giant Connect Four and others. Grab a hazy IPA or porter and enjoy some live music.
