Where to Get Your Last-Minute Shopping Done in the Sacramento Area

There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who have all their shopping done by the time the first jingle bell rings, and those who haven’t checked a single thing off their list by Christmas Eve. If you happen to be the latter — no judgment — there’s still plenty of time left for you to go shopping!

It may be too late to order gifts online, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of gift shops and boutiques in the greater Sacramento area where you can find the perfect present. Consider skipping the crowded malls this year and instead support small, locally-owned business owners, many of whom will be burning the midnight oil to ensure you get what you need. Following are some places in the greater Sacramento area that you may not have thought of where you can find one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your list.

The Farmstand at Park Winters | Winters

Park Winters is well regarded as an elegant venue for weddings and other special events. They also offer seasonal tours of their gardens. But they also have a farmstand onsite, where you can pick up locally produced gourmet food items. Honey, wine, vinegar, and herbs are just a few of the goodies on offer. They also carry bath and body products.

The Kitchen Table | Sacramento

This charming home goods shop has locations in both Land Park and East Sacramento (until they move to a new location in 2024!). Here, you’ll find all types of gifts for the home cook, as well as home décor, Christmas ornaments, gourmet food items, toys and much more! They have extended hours over the holiday season and are even open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m.– 2 p.m. They also host vendor fairs and how-to classes.

There’s also a brewery and café onsite in case you need a pick-me-up!

They are open every Saturday morning, rain or shine, and with more than 90 vendors, you’re sure to find a gift that fits the bill.
