10 Sacramento Area Gyms With Childcare
Let’s be honest. Fitness routines can be difficult to maintain — especially if you have to sneak away from the kids to carve out an hour of dedicated workout time. Thankfully, there are a number of gyms in the Sacramento area that offer childcare! This eliminates at least one excuse to skip the gym as you attempt to stick to your New Year’s resolution this year.
Many of these childcare centers are free with a gym membership, some offer a wide range of hours, and all provide a fun and safe environment for kids to play while you hit the treadmill.
Del Norte

Del Norte has been a neighborhood fixture in Arden-Arcade since opening in 1957. The club continues to serve the community through fitness, swimming and tennis facilities with a country club feel. Members enjoy free childcare for children from 6 months to 6 years old. The childcare services at Del Norte provide a safe and fun place for little ones to play. Plus, older kids will love the Kids Loft, designed for children ages 7–12. The lounge is fully supervised by staff and includes game tables, video game systems, movies, board games and more.

Free childcare is available for members on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children ages 1–11 enjoy games, arts and crafts, movies, and more while you work out!
California Family Fitness
With several locations throughout the Sacramento area, California Family Fitness is a large network of state-of-the-art gyms with an excellent childcare system. The name California Family Fitness is no mistake — each gym is designed to accommodate kids with childcare for all age groups from 3 months to 11 years old, kid-focused activities, and fabulous programs and events. The daily guest fee is $8 per child but you might consider adding your kids to your membership if you use childcare at Cal Fit on a regular basis.
Fitness Rangers
Location: 1717 34th Street, Sacramento
This East Sacramento gym offers state-of-the-art facilities, multiple boot camp classes each day, on-site personal training, barre, indoor cycling, cross training and more. Plus, Fitness Rangers offers childcare through their Kids Unplugged program, which encourages kids to stay active while you work out. Each child has an opportunity to get their energy out in a fun and creative way through yoga and power hour. Kids are divided into two age groups: Recruit Level for ages 4–6 and Core Level for ages 6–13.
Get Fit Davis

This boutique gym in Davis is equipped with everything you need to achieve your fitness goals — group exercise classes, specialty programs, personal training and state-of-the-art equipment. Plus, members of Get Fit Davis enjoy free childcare throughout the week (with varying hours). Children ages 3 months to 18 months are limited to one hour and 15 minutes and children between 18 months and 12 years old are limited to an hour and a half.
