Café Rolle Makes For the Perfect East Sac Business Lunch Venue
Across the street from East Sac’s wildly popular Selland’s Market-Café on H and 53rd Street is an understated French bistro that serves up fresh and innovative dishes that will take your business lunch to a whole new level.
I understand the salads are exceptional, but I have yet to order outside the extensive hot sandwich menu. My all-time favorite is the Hot Marinated Prawns Sandwich with warm marinated black tiger prawns, melted Gruyere cheese with dill mayo and lettuce. My colleagues are partial to the Smoked Salmon Sandwich and the classically served Croque Monsieur Sandwich.
The downside – the tables are small so plan to have a good dialogue with your dining companion, but you won’t have room to pull out the laptop. Additionally, the restaurant fills up quickly with the lunch crowd. I recommend arriving by 11:30 a.m. to ensure you won’t have to wait for a table.
