Beer’s a Brewing All Around Sac

Breweries have been stepping up their game in recent years, creating craft beers and opening taprooms in most every town and city throughout the nation. Below are a few new watering holes set to make a name in Sac and the surrounding cities.

EDH Brewing will open its doors on Embarcadero Drive in El Dorado Hills this summer. The family-friendly pub will serve craft beers made on site, wine, and homemade sausages.

Lincoln will soon be home to Infusion Taproom. With a scheduled opening of July 25 on Twelve Bridges Drive, there will be 20 rotating taps, focusing on local and regional brews. Wine and craft cider will also be available.

Blue Note Brewing Company puts Woodland on the map with its unique offerings. Recently opened on June 27, this kid-, dog-, and bike-friendly brewery features up-cycled furnishings and an unpretentious atmosphere as well handcrafted seasonal ales, porters and stouts.

Beer and a haircut? You can get them both at Bottle and Barlow on the R Street Corridor in Sacramento. Guests can enjoy a beer (or cocktail from the full bar) with a straight razor shave at this unique and arguably ingenious venture. Doors opened July 18.

Craft Beer Vault in Rocklin is set to open any day now. It will feature local and regional craft beers with brewery events, game nights, and a host of options to catch your favorite professional teams.
