Hoppin’ & Huntin’ at Hagan | Rancho Cordova | March 28

This Easter event at Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova is one of the biggest around! There’s a pancake breakfast, a massive egg hunt, and all types of hands-on activities for kids of all ages. There are also vendor booths and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Breakfast with the Bunny | Roseville | March 28

This annual event at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville welcomes a special guest: the Easter Bunny himself! It starts with breakfast, then continues with springtime crafts, games, and photo ops with the Bunny. Tickets are $18 and must be purchased in advance.

Aqua Egg Hunt | El Dorado Hills | March 28

Head to Promontory Park in El Dorado Hills for a free Easter-centric spring celebration. There will be a festive egg hunt for kids 0–12, so be sure to bring your baskets! Plus, you can meet the Easter Bunny and take photos.

Eggstreme Egg Hunt | Cameron Park | March 28

This isn’t your everyday Easter egg hunt — this one is eggstreme! Hunts will be divided by age groups (0–5 and 6–9) and afterwards, there’ll be fun and games for the entire family. Plus, you can have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

Floating Eggstravaganza | Roseville | March 29

Why settle for an ordinary egg hunt when you can search for bobbing eggs in a pool? This event will be held at the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool in Roseville, where more than 8,000 colorful eggs will be plopped in the water. There are three sessions to choose from, one for children with sensory issues. There will also be games, prizes, and meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny.

Spring Egg Hunt | Cache Creek Nature Preserve | March 29

If you prefer a nature-focused backdrop for your Easter activities (complete with REAL bunnies!), head to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve in Woodland. There are egg hunts for all age groups (even older kids), plus plenty of family-friendly activities and prizes. Stick around afterwards to explore the preserve, which is open until 4 p.m.

Floating Egg Hunt | Auburn | April 4

Dive into spring with this floating egg hunt at Sierra Pool in Auburn! The heated pool will hold a thousand festive eggs, and children can collect them and turn them in for candy and prizes. There will also be a lucky golden egg; the winner will win a free bike! Afterwards, there will be games and activities for kids.

Aqua Egg Adventure | West Sacramento | April 4

In West Sacramento, there will be a special water-based Easter egg hunt held at the Recreation Center pool! Kids can swim through the water to collect the eggs, which are filled with prizes and even a few surprises.

Spring Eggstravaganza | North Highlands | April 4

In North Highlands, gather up the family and head to Freedom Park for a morning of Easter activities! The free event includes an egg hunt, crafts, vendors, and a special hop-in from the Easter Bunny. There will also be an accessible egg hunt beginning at 10:15 a.m.

Breakfast with the Bunny | Davis | April 4

Easter weekend kicks off at the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge with a special breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Afterwards, participants can join the Bunny for a parade through town, culminating with an egg hunt at Community Church. The day will continue with fun activities like cookie decorating, card making, face painting, carnival games and more!

Egg-a-Palooza | North Natomas | April 4

North Natomas Aquatic Center is hosting its own pool-based Easter egg hunt, where kids of all ages can collect eggs in the water. There will also be snacks, games, and activities for the whole family. 

Spring Eggstravaganza | Fairytale Town | April 4

This long-running event at Fairytale Town in Sacramento’s Land Park neighborhood is designed for the littlest of the little ones. There’s an egg hunt with prizes and all kinds of spring-themed games and crafts. You can take photos with Peter Cottontail and even see a puppet show.

Sacramento’s Arden Park neighborhood will host a special Easter-themed event featuring a community breakfast, games, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. There is also a huge egg hunt designed for kids of all ages, as well as adults. Find the golden egg and you win a special prize!

The River Fox Train is hosting a festive Easter brunch on the rails! The two-hour ride through the Yolo Countryside includes a delicious meal, an egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter Bunny for each table.

Leash & Collar | Midtown | April 4

Bring your fur babies to midtown Sacramento for an Easter egg hunt just for them. Held April 4 from 12–4 p.m., you grab your basket from the counter, then follow the clues to determine where the dog-treat filled eggs are “hidden” in the neighborhood. Some eggs even feature bonus prizes! Advanced tickets are $15 and include a visit with the Easter Bunny.
