Rancho Cordova 4th of July Celebration
July 3–4, 2025 | Hagan Community Park
This two-day festival and parade draws hundreds of local residents each year to celebrate Independence Day! Held at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova, the event has a fun run, live music, carnival rides, and of course, plenty of fireworks — two nights’ worth, to be exact. There will also be circus acts, including juggling, fire shows, acrobats, and BMX and motocross. Hungry? Food trucks will be on site and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Elk Grove’s Salute to the Red, White & Blue
July 4, 2025 | Elk Grove Park
This year, the city of Elk Grove isn’t just celebrating America’s birthday, it’s also celebrating its own. Elk Grove turns 25 this year, meaning this will be an event like no other. The event kicks off with a bike parade, followed by a Michael Jackson tribute concert. Then, 200 drones will take to the skies for a special drone show that leads into a patriotic fireworks display.

Arden Park Fourth of July Bike Parade & Festival

This popular Fourth of July event in Sacramento’s Arden Arcade neighborhood is all about family fun! It begins with a bike parade, followed by live music, a kids zone with inflatables, a raffle, and swimming at the community pool. Plus, hamburgers and hot dogs will be for sale.
July 3–5, 2025 | Rodeo Park
This annual event is one of the largest rodeos in the west, complete with bull riding, barrel racing, and trick roping. Held at Rodeo Park in Folsom, it features three days of western heritage that honors the history of ranching in the area. In addition to rodeo events, there’ll also be cowboy motocross, live music and dancing, food, and fireworks each night.

El Dorado County Fourth of July Family Blast

It’s all about the red, white & blue in El Dorado County this Fourth of July! The El Dorado County Fairgrounds will play host to this community celebration, which includes live music, food and beverages, and, of course, fireworks! Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinners and lawn games.
El Dorado Hills Fireworks & Freedom Concert

This popular family event, held the day before Fourth of July, celebrates the good ole U.S.A. with live music and a dazzling fireworks show. There are also activities and games for the kids, food and beverages, and vendors.

Roseville 4th of July Celebration
July 4, 2025 | Various Locations
There’s no shortage of things to do in Roseville this Fourth of July! The day begins with a parade through old town Roseville, traveling along Vernon Street until it gets to Royer Park. There, attendees will find games and activities for kids, local vendors, live music and food. That night, The Grounds will host a fireworks show, so bring a blanket or chairs and get there early for a prime viewing spot.
July 4, 2025 | Downtown Auburn
This annual Fourth of July celebration begins with a parade through the streets of old town Auburn. Afterwards, a community festival will feature live music, food vendors, games, and a kids splash pad. Another fun event is the “Release the Quackin” duck derby, in which thousands of rubber duckies will be dropped over targets for a chance to win prizes as part of a fundraising event for a local charity.

Lincoln Fourth of July Celebration
July 4, 2025 | McBean Park
This annual celebration is held at McBean Park in Lincoln. It is chock-full of fun activities and attractions for the entire family, including a pancake breakfast, hometown parade, food trucks, horseshoe tournament, and vendor booths. There will also be a free kids’ zone, complete with inflatables. Live music, dancing, and fireworks round out the lineup.

July 4, 2025 | Sutter Health Park
Nothing says Americana more than a baseball game! This Independence Day, the Athletics will be taking on the San Francisco Giants at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento. Enjoy a hot dog and a cold beer and cheer on your favorite team. Afterwards, enjoy the patriotic post-game firework show!
July 4, 2025 | Drake’s: The Barn
This annual event at Drake’s: The Barn in West Sacramento is an epic lawn party featuring live DJs, a silent disco, a barbecue meal, and plenty of adult beverages from their onsite bar. They’ll also have a watch party for the Giants vs. Athletics game which is taking place down the street at Sutter Health Park. Afterwards, you will be in a prime location to watch the post-game fireworks.
Davis Fourth of July Celebration
July 4, 2025 | Community Park
The city of Davis will host its annual Fourth of July event at Community Park. The event will feature a free game zone for kids, live music, and a fireworks show after dark. Local nonprofits will be onsite selling snacks and treats and you can pack a picnic and spread out on the lawn.
Woodland’s Independence Day Celebration
July 3–4, 2025 | Various Locations
Family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a fireworks display are the highlights of this annual event in Woodland. On Thursday, Woodland High School plays host to games and inflatables for the kiddos, followed by food and entertainment leading up to the fireworks show at 9:15. The next morning, you can enjoy a pancake breakfast to support local firefighters, followed by a bike parade, live music, bounce houses, games, and free snow cones at Freeman Park. There’s also free swimming and a floating obstacle course at the local pool!
