St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival | Old Sacramento
Held in Old Sacramento, this annual parade and festival is fun for the whole family! The parade kicks off March 15 at 12:30, winding its way through the streets of Old Sacramento with Celtic dancers, bagpipe players, and more. You can also search for hidden leprechauns throughout Old Sac, solving clues for a chance to win a gift card to British pub Bear & Crown or Underground Mini Golf. Throughout the month, you can enjoy special Irish dishes at area restaurants, including corned beef & cabbage and Irish lamb stew. It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without green beer, and you’ll find it at several local bars, as well as drink specials such as Irish mules and shamrock shots.

Father Paddy’s Street Bash | Woodland
Every day is St. Patrick’s Day at Father Paddy’s Irish Pub in Woodland! This year, they will take it up a notch on March 17 with food, drinks, music, games, and good vibes. Wear your favorite green attire and enjoy the sounds of Irish music, including Stout Rebellion, The Groggs, and One Eyed Riley. As always, you can get traditional Irish food such as shepherd’s pie, Irish stew, and corned beef and cabbage.
Saint Patrick’s Day at 36 Handles | El Dorado Hills
This friendly pub in El Dorado Hills doesn’t just celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on one day, they are hosting a four-day event March 14–17 featuring food, drinks, and live entertainment! They’ll have Irish dancers, games, bagpipers, and whiskey tasting, as well as live bands including One Eyed Riley, B-Side Band, O’Connell Street, Innersoul, Unleashed, Island of Black and White, Dust in my Coffee, and The Aces. Doors open at 11 a.m. and all ages are welcome. VIP tickets get you access to all four days, a dedicated server, a reserved spot next to the stage, and a complimentary drink.

St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Pub Crawl | Midtown Sacramento
Music, food and drinks are the draw at this all-day/all-night pub crawl in Midtown Sacramento March 15. Tickets will get you into more than a dozen local bars and pubs, plus exclusive drink specials and free shots at select venues. You’ll find deals on green beer, Jameson Irish whiskey, and Guinness stout. Many venues also offer food specials, including corned beef tacos and Irish nachos. Check in is between 1–4 p.m. at Henry’s Lounge and the party will last all night!

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at the Boxing Donkey | Roseville
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this weekend at the Boxing Donkey in Roseville! They are hosting a multi-day party March 14, 15, and 17 with food, drinks, and live music. In fact, seven bands will be playing, and they’ll have a special menu and green beer. Note: They are closed on Sunday but will re-open with special hours on Monday to keep the party going. 21 and over only.

Auburn St. Patrick’s Day Celebration | Auburn
The city of Auburn is hosting its own celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Scheduled for March 17 at 5:17 p.m. (yes, 5:17) the event begins with a parade through Downtown Auburn. Afterwards, you can continue the festivities with a community dinner that includes live music, an Irish bar, and a raffle. The menu features Guinness beef stew, mashed potatoes and Irish soda bread.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Fox & Goose | Midtown Sacramento
Now in its 50th year, the annual celebration at Fox & Goose Public House in Midtown Sacramento honors all things Irish! Scheduled for March 17, traditional Irish dishes will be on the menu, including lamb stew and corned beef and cabbage, and Irish beer will be flowing from the taps, including Guinness, Harp and Smithwick’s. There will be Irish bagpipe music and a group singalong (lyric sheets provided!). The musical lineup includes Celtic Charms, Pint Thieves, and Stout Rebellion. The event is all-ages until 10 p.m., after which it’s 21 and over.
St. Patrick’s Day Party at Blue Note | Woodland
Blue Note Brewing Company in Woodland is turning green for a day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! On Saturday, March 15, they’ll have a special menu featuring a corned beef and cabbage plate or a corned beef and cabbage pizza. They’ll also have live music featuring The Labricks and Strung Nugget Gang. Doors open at noon and the event is all ages.
