The Sacramento Area’s Best Vintage Shops: Clothing, Furniture & More!

Whether the sleek lines of 1950s furniture, the whimsical patterns of 1970s cookware, or the bright colors of 1980s fashion, anything vintage is all the rage right now. The saying “what’s old is new again” rings especially true in the vintage scene around the greater Sacramento area. From clothing to furniture and home décor, vintage stores breathe new life into items from the past.

There are many reasons why vintage goods are growing in popularity. In addition to simply liking the aesthetic of days gone by, many consumers are embracing the idea of sustainability. Keeping items out of landfills and curbing consumption is a modern-day approach to consumerism.

Vintage shops, like antique stores, are carefully curated collections of items from a particular era. While antiques generally refer to items over 100 years old, vintage pieces are typically 20–30 years old or older. Unlike thrift stores, which offer a mix of donated goods, vintage shops feature handpicked, stylish finds, ensuring only the best items make it to the sales floor.

So, whether you’re looking for vintage clothes, furniture, home décor or a little bit of everything (including vinyl!), following are some of the best vintage shops in the greater Sacramento area.
