Lyon Agents & Staff Give Back on Community Service Day

Lyon Real Estate is proud of its agents and staff who once again came together to give back to the communities they serve. The annual Community Service Day is a time when volunteers from each of Lyon’s 17 offices and Agent Support Center join forces to donate their time (and muscle!) to community organizations.

Now in its third year, the event was held on April 21. Approximately 300 agents and employees participated, donating a total of 750 hours. Hands-on projects ranged from tidying up public spaces to sorting donated food. Volunteers spent the day engaged in a number of tasks, including raking, painting, organizing, cleaning, and gardening, among many others.

Volunteers with Lyon Real Estate Downtown did yardwork alongside Rebuilding Together Sacramento.

“As a member of the greater Sacramento community, we are honored to give back to those in need,” says Pat Shea, Lyon President and CEO. “During our annual Community Service Day, our agents and employees volunteer their time to help the organizations that truly make a difference in our community. Lyon Real Estate is proud to assist them in those efforts.”

Agents from Lyon’s Roseville office lent a hand at Heart’s Landing Ranch.

Rhonda Holmen from Lyon’s Land Park office did some landscape maintenance for Safe Harbor Tiny Homes by WEforce of California.

Lyon Real Estate has a long history of giving back the community. Through its Lyon Cares Foundation, it has donated more than $1.2 million in grants to area non-profits since 2015. It also hosts several fundraisers and leads an annual coat drive, in which more than 95,000 coats have been collected and distributed to those in need since 2011.
