Sacramento-Area Restaurants with Dog-Friendly Outdoor Patios

There’s no bones about it — Sacramento locals love their dogs! There are dozens of dog parks in the Sacramento area as well as dog-friendly trails, swimming holes, and beaches. But why should your pooch have all the fun? Sometimes you need to rest and recharge too, and there’s no reason your four-legged friend shouldn’t be able to join in. Luckily, many restaurants around town allow dogs on their outdoor patios.

Enjoying the spring sunshine while dining al fresco is one of the many perks of living in the Sacramento area. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, outdoor dining is a Sacramento tradition. Most restaurants in the greater Sacramento area have charming outdoor spaces where you can enjoy a meal (and an adult beverage!) while taking in the mild weather. Following are some of our favorite dog-friendly patios in the greater Sacramento area.

The menu has a Mexican focus, with tacos, nachos and burritos. Owned by the folks behind Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse, plenty of Urban Roots brews are available at any given time, plus a handful of agave-based cocktails.
