Pick up Dinner to Go at These Sacramento Area Food Truck Events
Sometimes, after a long day, the last thing you want to do is cook dinner. Although some restaurants are now reopened for in-person dining and many more are doing curbside takeout, ordering a meal from a food truck is another fun (and delicious!) way to tame a grumbling tummy. With the loosening of stay-at-home restrictions to allow mobile food vendors, now is the perfect time to stop by a local food truck event and help support a small businesses.
Food truck meetups have been taking place around the greater Sacramento area for years. And while relaxing in a park with friends and family listening to live music and chowing down on food truck fare is no longer permitted due to social distancing guidelines, you can still get your food to go.
Food trucks are still showing up at locations throughout town, with some new safety guidelines in place. Customers are asked to order their food online ahead of time (if possible) to reduce contact. So, put on a mask, stand six feet apart and enjoy your meal!
