Lyon Cares Foundation Reaches $500,000 in Grants

Lyon Real Estate is proud to announce that since 2015, more than $500,000 has been donated to local non-profits through the Lyon Cares Foundation.

Lyon Real Estate is truly committed to the communities it serves. Each year, every Lyon Real Estate office throughout the greater Sacramento area gives two $5,000 grants to groups dedicated to improving the lives of others. These groups provide family services, disaster relief and veterans services to community members in need.

“We are so appreciative of Lyon Real Estate and the generosity of their entire team for helping us to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing support to families at times of crisis,” said Todd Koolakian, director of philanthropy at the Sacramento Children’s Home.

Lyon Real Estate aims to inspire and empower care and kindness in the communities it serves by offering time, talent and treasure to local organizations that work to make the world a better place. Employees donate directly out of their earnings. In fact, 97 percent of Lyon agents and employees contribute, and many Lyon agents earmark $10 out of each closing to go directly to the foundation, which is matched by Lyon Real Estate. Since 2015, 113 local organizations have received grants.
