The new design of our website is sleek, clean and modern, with a focus on quality content and vibrant, eye-catching photos. The streamlined navigation on the header and drop-down menus makes it easy to maneuver the site and find exactly what you’re looking for with a few quick clicks. Our mobile-friendly website has an overall attractive feel that makes the user experience simple and enjoyable.

Content Catered to Buyers + Sellers

Our tailored content for buyers and sellers is perhaps one of the more notable features of our redesign. On the home page, there are two prominent tabs labeled “Buy” and “Sell” that unveil content specifically for those interested in buying or selling. When a user clicks one of those tabs, the homepage updates to show the most relevant content to their needs.

The “Buy” tab highlights our amazing communities, a featured property, luxury listings, our updated mobile app (more on that later!), and detailed information about the home buying process. The prominent search bar at the top of the page allows buyers to quickly search for an address or listing by MLS.

The “Sell” tab showcases information about market activity, our market snapshot feature, and Price My Home. The search bar at the top of the page allows sellers to enter their home address for a preliminary automated property valuation, and request a true valuation from a professional.

The New Map Search

Because location plays a vital role in the home buying process, we moved to a map-first approach. This cutting-edge element allows users to easily see properties displayed on an interactive map of the Greater Sacramento Area. Users can peruse properties using a proximity search that includes drive time data, location within a community, or distance from specific schools. The map search feature also allows users to find nearby points of interest, view current traffic for an area, create custom searches using the polygon tool, and more.

They can also filter their search using traditional search fields like price range, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, and more. However, users with more specific desires — such as finding a home with a pool — have the option to do so through our advanced search capabilities. Users can then choose to view the results from the map in a gallery or list, if that is preferred.

Mobile App

So much of home searching today is done on mobile devices, so it was important to us that our mobile presence matched the advanced technology of our website. In addition to revamping our website, we also released a newer version of our mobile app.

The free Lyon Real Estate mobile app offers a variety of different search options, the latest in mobile mapping technology, rich neighborhood data including schools and amenities, real-time alerts, and much more. It is now easier than ever for customers to search for homes on the go!

The app is available on iOS and Android smartphones and tablet devices.

A Fresh Look For Agent Websites

All of our agents inherit the incredible technology found on our website for their customizable agent website. They can choose from three unique layouts — each of which are tailored to the various needs and personalities of our agents and teams. Updated Community Pages

As a community-focused company, updating our individual community pages was important to us. In addition to the slideshow of photos (and sometimes even a video!) and area description, there is now a prominent place above the fold dedicated to searching for homes within that community. You will also find a map, points of interest, and market statistics, which make choosing a home based on communities even easier for buyers.
