Sac Continues to be a Hot Market
Sacramento is bucking the national trend, in a good way, according to Realtor.com’s Advance Read of October Trends. Most experts agree that sales began slowing up across the country in September. The monthly update, however, acknowledges 20 markets across the nation that are still going strong.
Sacramento/Roseville was ranked seventh on the list, up from eighth in September. While California has 12 metro markets making the list, it’s Denver that tops the rankings, followed by San Jose/Santa Clara and San Francisco/Oakland. Yuba City checked in at number nine, followed by Stockton/Lodi at 11.
Nationally, the median age of inventory is 81 days, up one day from September (but down three days year-over-year). The areas that comprised the 20 Hottest Markets are seeing inventory move 30 to 47 days quicker than the rest of the country.
