The holidays are a time for giving and togetherness, but no matter how old we get, there’s still a small part of us harboring our very own Christmas list. Whether your list lends itself to the realm of possibility for the Santa in your life, or it’s simply wishful thinking, below are a few things that might make your ultimate list.

Men are undeniably more difficult to shop for, so thankfully Barneys paired up with “street style star” Nick Wooster to come up with some sumptuous suggestions for their very own Handsome Holiday list. Wooster recommends Rick Owens lace up combat boots ($2,060), an array of Sleepy Jones pajama-wear (starting at $348), and a Zero Halliburton polycarbonate classic 28” spinner luggage piece ($995).

Barneys’ suggestions for women include a diverse selection of bags (including the Paco Rabanne suede shoulder bag for $2,050). There was also guidance from fashion writer Camille Charriere. She suggests a Stella McCartney pom-pom verity coat ($3,890) and cashmere Melton Daulton coat by The Row ($2,890).

Luxury Living Magazine boasts the stylish and timeless quality of luxury leather accouterments, including a leather drinks case or director’s chair by Life of Riley. Neiman Marcus’ vast list of suggestions covers all the bases (and most budgets) with Mara Hoffman reusable bottles ($45), Oliver Peoples leather eyewear trunk ($595), and Stelle golden audio pillar wireless speaker ($299). Audio accessories were evident on most lists, specifically headphones. They ranged from Alexander Wang headphones ($449.95) to the $55,000 Sennheiser Orpheus headphones, which are touted as “the best headphones in the world.”

To shop Barneys, Sacramentans need only take a short drive to San Francisco or Livermore while the nearest Neiman Marcus is in Walnut Creek. But luxury abounds locally at the Galleria in Roseville (Tiffany’s, Burberry, Nordstrom) as well as the Pavilions in Arden-Arcade and the Palladio in Folsom.
