Sac is Ninth Fastest Growing Area in California

The numbers are out. And as reported by the Sacramento Business Journal, the U.S. Census showed that the Sacramento-Roseville-Arden area added approximately 78 residents a day throughout 2014, for a total of 28,627 new residents over the year, a 1.3 percent growth year-over-year. The figures make the region the ninth fastest growing metropolitan area in California.

Sacramento County alone ranks as the 13^th fastest growing county in the state. Alameda topped the list of fastest growing counties (growing two percent).

Neighboring counties also fared well in terms of growth, with Placer County experiencing a 1.2 percent increase, Yolo County 1.5 percent, and El Dorado 0.7 percent, during the same time frame.
