Explore Sac’s Historic Homes

Sacramento is home to spectacular residences that we can often only wonder about as we drive or stroll by. Preservation Sacramento will offer a unique glimpse into some of these storied homes September 20 during the 2015 Historic Home Tour.

The 40^th annual tour features the architectural treasures of the Richmond Grove neighborhood in downtown Sacramento (bordered by W, R, 12^th and 19^th Streets). The self-guided outing showcases Queen Anne, 20^th century revival, arts and crafts, and art deco architectures. Other highlighted properties include an industrial warehouse converted to residential use, a Craftsman bungalow owned by a board member of the Bank of America, and the prairie-style home of one of Sacramento’s most respected judges. Docents will be on hand to assist with tours at each property.
