Yolo County Homes Getting More than Market Value

The little town of Davis and its surrounding Yolo County is turning out to be a real estate hot spot. Earlier this spring it was rated among the nation’s hippest cities. It’s making headlines again after being named one of the top seller’s markets, with homes selling for 107 percent of their full estimated market value.

In a report comprised by RealtyTrac, Yolo County was ranked fifth among 315 counties with a population of at least 100,000 and at least 100 sales in April (the qualifying factors). It fell right behind Alameda and San Francisco counties, the District of Columbia, and Forsyth County North Carolina.  It was followed by Marin and Contra Costa counties.
